About the sessions
Sessions start at 2pm until 4.30pm, ending with a tea break and biscuits. There will be a range of different tasks to get involved with each week.
Activities may include:
  • Stripping bikes that cannot be ridden - stripping bikes is a great way to learn how bikes are put together and how to use different tools, you'll be taking off any useful parts and helping us to recycle more cleanly
  • Dismantling wheels - learn more about how wheels are put together by taking some apart! We will be looking to save as many hubs, spokes and rims as we can
  • Saving second hand inner tubes - this can involve repairing, testing and labelling used inner tubes, which are a great option for our customers who are on a budget
  • Sorting, cleaning and organising parts - if you love creating order out of chaos, then you can really make a difference here! We want to improve our storage systems to to make things easier to find
