Politics, Power and Protest Sketch Walk: The Suffragette History of Leeds

Gather with Leeds Sanctuary and local artist and historian, Clifford Stead, for a Sketch Walk focussing on the history of the Suffragette movement in Leeds. We'll be reflecting on the rights of women and girls in the city today, while sketching key areas in the city centre.  The Walk will meet at the steps into Leeds Art Gallery at 5.30pm on Tuesday 08 September. No prior experience or knowledge of either history or sketching is required, and we'll provide you with paper and a pencil!

As a charity, we are committed to keeping our events and communities as affordable as possible, and so we have introduced a pricing structure for the Sketch Walks which allows you to choose the price which is best suited to you. Here’s a quick guide to help you decide which ticket to select on the next page:

Recommended price ticket - £11. If you have some flexibility in your monthly outgoings, choosing this ticket covers your place on the Walk in full.

Lower cost ticket - £5.50 Our most affordable ticket price.
