Mindset over Matter: Driving Sustained Change in the Modern Classroom

On behalf of Lecale Trinity Grammar School, I am delighted to invite you to our upcoming Research-Informed Conference:

Mindset over Matter: Driving Sustained Change in the Modern Classroom
Monday 30 November 2026 at 9.30am

This promises to be a very special morning of professional learning, bringing together school leaders to explore how we turn good ideas, strong research and shared ambitions into real, sustained change in our schools.

We are delighted to welcome Paul Gray to open the conference and are particularly excited that international keynote speaker David Meade will deliver our keynote address.

With a renowned reputation for helping organisations work more effectively, David is trusted by global brands to engage, motivate, and inspire teams. His mind-reading and mentalist skills impress audiences worldwide, making his presentations unforgettable. His involvement in this conference presents a unique opportunity for school leaders to hear from him with a focus specifically on leadership, mindset and meaningful change. You can find out more about David and his work at: https://www.davidmeade.co.uk/.

At the heart of the morning is a challenge that will resonate with leaders across every sector:
How do we move beyond knowing what works to ensuring that effective practice actually becomes embedded and sustained?

With schools having greater access than ever to high-quality educational research, the conference will focus on what happens next: implementation. We will consider the leadership, relationships, coaching, culture and collective mindset needed to translate evidence-informed approaches into lasting improvements in learning and teaching.
We would be delighted if you could join us and would particularly encourage Principals to attend with a member of their Senior Leadership Team. Coming together provides an opportunity not simply to listen, but to reflect on your own school's priorities, discuss what could make a difference and take that thinking back into your leadership team.

There will also be time throughout the morning to connect with fellow school leaders, share experiences and exchange ideas.
As part of the event, we will host a charity coffee and cake morning in support of the Northern Ireland Hospice, with guests warmly invited to make a voluntary donation.

Places are strictly limited and we expect this event to sell out quickly. With international keynote speaker David Meade joining us, we would strongly encourage you to book early to secure places for you and your Senior Leadership Team.

I look forward to welcoming you to Lecale Trinity Grammar School on 30 November for what promises to be a very special morning of professional learning,

Kind regards,
Grainne Lundy
