We see plenty of the finished work. The polished case studies, the final campaigns, the career announcements and the projects that went exactly to plan.

But what about everything it took to get there?

The work behind the work is an evening of honest conversations about the bits we don’t always see – the false starts, rejected ideas, difficult decisions, career detours and projects that changed completely along the way.

For our next Ladies, Wine & Design Manchester event, we’re bringing together three brilliant voices from across the Manchester creative community:

Jane Bowyer – Founder and Creative Director at A Studio Called Jane
Daisy Crowder – Brand & Marketing Director at Craft
Alanna Mercy-Marshall – Creative Director at Carbon Creative

Each speaker will share their own take on the work behind the work – from creative process and careers to the lessons, changes and unexpected moments that happen in between.

After the talks, there’ll be plenty of time to carry on the conversation over drinks, meet others from Manchester’s creative community and ask the questions that don’t always get asked at industry events.

Whether you’re just starting out, somewhere in the middle, or still figuring out what the middle even looks like, come along.

This event is open to all women, non-binary, trans, and gender non-conforming people.
