Saturday 5th December 2026
Join experienced Medical Herbalist Joy Holmes (RN, BSc (Hons) Herbal Medicine) for a fascinating exploration of the herbs and spices traditionally associated with the winter season.

Drawing on her extensive knowledge of herbal medicine and 28-year nursing career, Joy will guide participants through the history, uses and health benefits of a selection of seasonal herbs commonly enjoyed during the colder months.

Alongside the talk, participants will create a traditional clove pomander to take home, a fragrant seasonal decoration with historical roots as a natural room freshener.
