The Little Christmas Tree - Hans Christian Andersen
Kirkby Stephen Sports & Social Club, Kirkby Stephen, CA17 4QN
Saturday 5th December 2026
Based on The Fir Tree by Hans Christian Andersen
Gus the fir tree may be small, but his ambition grows tall! Gus dreams of leaving the forest to become the next big thing. A virtuoso violin, a beautifully carved throne or even a mast for a fine sailing ship. If only he could just grow a little bit taller, he might be chosen next for a great adventure.
But everyone knows the finest fate that can befall a fir tree is to become… a Christmas tree.
After watching the bigger trees achieve their dreams, will this be the year that Gus is finally chosen?
Join Yarnbird Arts for a delightfully green festive treat.
