Kids Invent Stuff: Home Ed Inventors Workshop

PLEASE NOTE ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT FOR THE DURATION OF THE SESSION

What to Expect
Get ready for a fun, hands-on inventing adventure! In this interactive session, children aged 4–11 will step into the world of being a real inventor.

• A lively introduction to how kids’ ideas become real inventions
• A creative challenge to spark imagination
• Designing and building a prototype using cardboard and craft materials
• Plenty of guidance, encouragement and support throughout
• A unique creation to take home at the end

Designed with home-educated learners in mind, this workshop blends creativity, STEAM thinking and hands-on discovery in a relaxed, social environment.

As part of the workshop, you’ll also get the chance to visit our brand new Invention Shed! Step inside to explore real inventions that have been built, take on our fun Inventor’s Toolkit challenge and get hands-on with interactive elements throughout the space.

Why Should I Book?
This isn’t just another craft session - it’s a chance for your child to think like a real inventor.

• Boosts creativity and imagination
• Builds confidence through hands-on making
• Encourages problem-solving and independent thinking
• A great way to learn through play (without it feeling like learning!)
• Quality time together in a fun, shared experience

Plus, they’ll leave proud of something they’ve designed and built themselves - which is always a win.
