Michaelmas Concert

Michaelmas Concert
Thursday 12th November at 6.30pm – Levi Fox Hall

You are warmly invited to support the School's senior musicians by attending the Michaelmas Concert.

Some of our senior soloists will take the stage to share their individual pieces and there will be pieces from both large and smaller ensembles. Performances will include the Middle School Choir singing Lean on Me and Sixth Form Choir singing Run with a student band. Strings have been working on pieces by Mozart and Bartók and this concert will the first for Mr Foxwell directing King’s Brass and Concert Band. We look forward to hearing what they have been working on.

There will be tremendous variety in this concert which will involve almost 200 students across Years 7-13. If your son/daughter plays or sings in one of the following groups, they will be involved in the Concert: Chapel Choir, Middle School Choir, Sixth Form Choir, Strings, Concert Band, KERBB, GuitarKEStra, Saxophone Quartet and Piano Trio. It will be a wonderful evening of music-making and it’s always pleasurable for students to have support!

A bar will also be available beforehand and during the interval organised by faux pas, our Parents’ Association for the Arts. We are very grateful to the volunteers who raise money to enable so many opportunities for our students across the Arts.

In the event that the concert is sold out, a waiting list will be enabled and tickets allocated on a first come first served basis.
