The Dying Wish
Kelvin Players Theatre, Bristol, BS7 8NY
Friday 30th October 2026
Paul has been sentenced to death, for reasons he isn’t fully certain of. Two executioners supervise, as he awaits the judgement of the attorney’s appeals, which seem to involve an increasingly complex system of bribery and a tangle of fresh accusations.
Paul has a final request, a dying wish: to play the piano.
An original piece from Kelvin’s own Mauro Fazion, The Dying Wish is a black comedy with eclectic stylistic homages to Beckett, Berkoff, and Pinter. It's a funny and deeply human examination of how we cope in the face of the law, uncertainty, and corruption.
