IF NOT NOW, WHEN? 2027

Rewilding Coombeshead Nature Focused Education & Stays, Broadwoodwidger, PL16 0JS
Friday 23rd July 2027 3:00PM
IF NOT NOW, WHEN? 2027 kindly sponsored by Forestry England
The fifth year of our groundbreaking symposium is brought to you by Keep It Wild (KIW) to share quality information about rewilding, raise funds for our ‘land for nature’ purchases and species recovery projects. We will be tackling thorny issues, facilitating much-needed conversations and raising the bar on nature recovery.

Our 2026 event SOLD OUT 6 weeks prior. 35 people were waitlisted and unable to attend.
Building on our strengths from previous years rewilding events at Rewilding Coombeshead, home of author and reintroduction specialist Derek Gow ‘If Not Now, When? 2027’ promises a weekend packed with big hitters in the nature recovery scene. A high profile list of authors and rewilding visionaries sharing their own lived experience. There’s a packed agenda for those with a thirst for firsthand knowledge, practical application of real-world projects, each helping us all to paint a picture of possibility for a brighter future here in the UK. There will also be Art , in many forms. And we will have Chef Arthur Duncan returning, the 2026 food was awesome!

An unashamedly rustic affair in the ‘Strawditorium’ sheltered in the repurposed bars on the farm. Speakers, presentations, food, drink, art, tours and merriment. Ecologist lead tours and behind-the-scenes looks at the  KIW ‘Species Recovery Centre’ (signup sheets at the venue), limited numbers to allow for serious audience participation, Q&A and discussion.
This event is likely to be video recorded for media use on our social media channels.

Speakers
Our ticket price reflects the fact that we want to deliver the most up-to-date information available. Often we are bringing the greatest minds from overseas to plug the knowledge gaps here in the UK. Our speakers have graciously agreed to travel and share their wisdom for the benefit of us all for this. We are extremely grateful and want to support them as best we can. If you or your organisation would like to sponsor a speaker or the entire event, please get in touch with [email protected]
