Cotswolds Goddess Culture: Cuda Day
The Corinium Museum, Cirencester, GL7 2BX
Saturday 18th April 2026
Meet one of our local Goddesses, Cuda!
Cuda whispers to us across the ages and tells us how our ancestors once venerated nature. Come and meet this local iron-age mother goddess of the Cotswolds. Enjoy an informative and nourishing day tuning into spirits of place.
We begin with a small gathering in a private room at the Corinium Museum with a talk about: Cuda and the Cuculatti (her hooded attendants). Learn about local mother Goddess culture, and what we can glean from the traces in the landscape and archaeology.
Lunch
During the lunch break we will look around the museum (entry included). Lunch can be purchased at the Museum cafe or local cafes.
Afternoon
After lunch we reconvene at a local beauty spot near Painswick out on the land for ceremony and ritual to deepen personal connection with Mother Goddess, and sourcing her wisdom from within, and with Cuda and the spirits of place.
