Jazz in Moreton - Chanson Swing 6th August

MORETON JAZZ
@ St. David's Centre, Moreton in Marsh

Chanson Swing– Live at Moreton Jazz
Step into an evening of elegance, romance and timeless melody at Moreton Jazz, as we bring you a captivating Chanson Night celebrating the very best of European jazz and classic easy‑listening standards.
Featuring the wonderfully expressive voice of Sophie Holder, whose rich, velvety tones breathe new life into beloved songs of Paris and beyond, this is a night designed to transport you straight to a smoky Left Bank café.
She is joined by an outstanding ensemble:

• Ben Holder – Piano
• Mike Cypher – Drums
• Mike Green – Double Bass

Together, these exceptional musicians create a warm, sophisticated soundscape—effortlessly blending French chanson, European jazz favourites, and timeless classics you know and love.
Expect beautifully interpreted songs, relaxed swing, and a touch of continental charm in an intimate live setting. Whether you're a jazz aficionado or simply looking for a truly special evening out, this promises to be music to savour, sip by sip and note by note.
