Blues 101 Songwriting Workshop - Write a Blues Song in 2 Hours
Hope Christian Community Church, Pontypridd, CF37 1LL
Monday 18th January 2027 7:00PM
Ever felt like you have a song in you? You probably do!
In this workshop, we'll be covering the basics of the 12-bar blues - a structure that crops up everywhere in music.
We'll be learning the easy-to-use formula for this style, and using it to craft our own simple Blues songs.
All ages and abilities are welcome (under 16s to be accompanied by an adult).
Tickets - £10 each for the session PLUS a resource booklet to take home.
Jamie B Sings has been writing and performing music for over 20 years, and has hosted songwriting workshops for the Wales Millennium Centre and Parc Arts. He also hosts the monthly music quiz at Y Muni in Pontypridd.
