Michael Copley and Friends

The  evening will feature an unusual number of unlikely wind instruments,  solos, duets and trios, with music from the 17th to the 20th centuries.

Michael Copley has played in the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Sydney Open House, Carnegie Hall, he has recorded as a soloist for Deutsche Grammophon and now he is coming to play for us at Impington Music Society. These days he is very involved with music making at all levels in Cambridge and devotes a considerable amount of time to the Mawson Road Community Orchestra.

Michael will be accompanied at the piano by Ian de Massini, who has played with Michael at many of the aforementioned venues and is a well-known figure in the Cambridge music scene.  Michael and Ian played together for many years as the 'Classic Buskers'.
