Mathew Lee and the Bog Oak Violin

Mathew Lee will play a violin built using wood from a Black Oak tree that grew in Norfolk 5000 years ago.  He will be accompanied by Hayley Ogilvie on the piano.  The program will include music by well-known composers such as Dvořák, Mozart and Paganini and will introduce you to some lovely pieces by less well-known composers.  Philip Taylor, the Norfolk-based violin builder, will join us to outline some of the background to the violin.  Great for young violinists and anyone interested in the instrument!
