AN EVENING WITH IAN MCNABB

The Horsley Live Music Club invites you to an evening with Ian McNabb, one of the finest singer-songwriter-guitarists that Britain has produced over the past 40 years. Since his early days as frontman and principal songwriter with The Icicle Works in the 1980s, Ian has produced 38 albums of high-quality original material, as a band member and as a solo artist.  His work continues to earn widespread critical acclaim for its lyrical maturity, melodic craftsmanship, and enduring passion. He has always toured extensively – this year sees solo and Icicle Works shows across the UK and the USA. This is a seated concert, in the atmospheric and historic setting of the Great Hall, Horsley Towers.  With a small capacity, this means that the audience can enjoy a great evening out, comfortably seated in beautiful surroundings, with the artist up close and personal. The bar will be open from 7.00 until 11.00. The show will start at 7.45 and Ian will perform two sets, with an interval.

"I started playing in bands in 1975 when I was 14. There was no big plan, just a love of music. None of us ever thought about the future - we only thought as far as the next gig. It's pretty amazing to be still here and doing it."- Ian McNabb
