The South Downs Show 2026

The South Downs Show has been running for decades in various formats and this year it will be a two day event in the middle of August.
The show will include everything from awesome arena acts covering 2 arenas, entertaining attractions, dog shows, animals, children’s rides and fun zone, country life stalls, living history village, festival bar and catering with live music and much much more.
New attractions already planned for 2026 include a miniature steam engine to ride around the site, even bigger reenactments and battles, a British Army display including a tank and climbing wall, vintage chair-o-planes...
So many attractions and displays are included in the admission price with a totally awesome day to be had without the need to spend any more although the choices of food and drink on offer you may not be able to resist.

We have a range of tickets including family tickets for a family of 4, adult (16+), child (3-15) and toddlers under 3 are admitted for free.
Carers are welcome at our event at a discounted price when attending with a paying adult they care for. Once a carer ticket has been purchased we will be in touch and ask you to supply valid carer identification.
Hometown Events will be taking photos and video content at The South Downs Show. These images will be used by Hometown Events to share news about the show and to publicise our future events. Images may be used in press releases, printed publicity and published on The South Downs Show website. They will be stored securely, and will be deleted after they are no longer needed for publicity purposes.
By purchasing a ticket and attending this event you agree that anyone in your party is happy to be photographed. If you would like to see your images, or would like us to delete them, please email the team on [email protected]
