And Now For Something Completely Divergent
Fire and Water, Sowerby Bridge, HX6 2QG
Saturday 9th January 2027
Four strangers. One therapy room. No therapist.
This is a one act play. Approx 1 hour.
And Now for Something Completely Divergent is a new play by Leila Jones, exploring what it actually feels like to navigate a world that isn’t always built for a neurodivergent brain.
Ella, Russell, Sam and Adam arrive for a therapy session. The therapist doesn’t.
So they start talking.
About school. Diagnosis. ADHD. Autism. Masking. Sensory overload. Families. Friendship. Being misunderstood. And the strange experience of spending your life trying to work out rules that everyone else seems to know.
It’s funny. It’s uncomfortable. It’s moving. And sometimes, it’s completely ridiculous.
But underneath it all is a story about four people slowly realising that perhaps they were never the problem.
This is a one act play. Approx 1 hour.
