An Evening with Katy Brent (Hartley Wintney Literary Festival)
Blue Bear Bookshop, Hook, RG27 8NY
Friday 9th October 2026
Join us at Blue Bear Bookshop for a Hartley Wintney Festival Event, an evening with Katy Brent.
About the Author - KATY BRENT is the author of four novels. Previously an award-winning journalist, she always dreamed of writing a book and lockdown finally gave her the excuse to do it.
Katy’s debut, How to Kill Men and Get Away With It was the No.1 Bookseller Heatseeker of 2023, and the sequel, I Bet You’d Look Good in a Coffin, published in 2025.
Her second book, The Murder After the Night Before was No.11 in the Sunday Times bestseller charts and No.1 in the Heatseeker chart on publication.
About the Book - My name is Kitty Collins and I’m a serial killer. I’m sharpening my knives for a grand finale.
If a man hurt your best friend – like, really hurt her – what would you do? Key his car? Or hunt him down and chop him into little pieces? Tough decision, I know.
I’ve tracked this lowlife to LA and brought my little sister Antoinette along for the ride. I'm trying not to be irritated that she's found a taste for murder and is leaving body parts all over our hotel. Because this girls’ trip needs a Hollywood ending.
And of all the men I've killed before, this one will be the sweetest…
To All the Men I’ve Loved Before is the epic conclusion in the Kitty Collins trilogy.
About the Event - Event will be 'in conversation' style. Tickets available, General Admission - £10, Admission plus Drink - £15, Admission Plus drink - £15 . Tickets are non-refundable.
