Harlow College - SEND Early Access Open Evening
Harlow College, Harlow, CM20 3EZ
Wednesday 29th April 2026
1 ticket will need to be booked for each person attending, including parents/carers.
Welcome
Open evenings can feel busy or stressful, so this early session is specifically for students with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) and their parents or carers who prefer a quieter and calmer atmosphere. We have arranged a bespoke presentation in a quiet space. You do not have to do everything and you can go at your own pace.
What will happen this evening?
• 4.15pm – Quiet arrival at college
• 4.30pm – Short SEND information talk in a dedicated quiet area
• 4.45pm – Time for questions
After this, you can:
• Join a supported campus tour
• Walk around on your own
• Leave if you want
You are also welcome to stay for the main open evening, including Harlow College Careers Fair, if you choose.
Support at Harlow College
We support students in different ways.
This may include:
• Support in lessons
• Support for students with an EHCP

Moving from school to college
We help students move from school to college.

• Talking to your school

• Taster days or short visits
• Planning for September
Campus tour
The tour is optional.
