New Parents - Daytime Visits to School
Greystones Primary School (Main Entrance), Sheffield, S11 7GL
Monday 9th November 2026 - Monday 7th December 2026
If you have a child who will start school in September 2027 and you would like to experience what Greystones looks and feels like during the school day, we are hosting daytime visits throughout November and early December.
Each visit will be led by a member of our School Leadership Team, and will last approximately 30 minutes.
During each visit we will greet a group of no more than 6 parents/carers, lead you around our Foundation Stage (also known as Reception) classes and our Key Stage One (aslo known as Infants) building. Our SLT member will give an overview of Greystones and who we are as well as answering questions you may have.
We strongly recommend families attend one of our Evening Showcase Meetings too, because more information will be provided then, and there will be more time to talk to our teachers and to answer your questions. You will also get the chance to meet some of our older pupils and understand the rich and exciting journey your child will be about to embark on at Greystones.
The daytime visits are only for families who have children due to start in September 2027.
Please note:
- As far as possible please avoid bringing any children to this small group event. You can speak to one of our SLT Team about this before the visit.
- Just one parent/carer per child per visit please
- Just one visit per person please
- Our teaching staff will be busy teaching during the daytime visits and may not be able to speak to you directly. However, they are available throughout the Showcase Event on Saturday 7th November starting at 9am.
- Please check your booking confirmation for details about arriving at school for the Daytime Visit.
Once booked, you will be able to amend your booking by following the links in the confirmation email. Don't forget to add the date and time to your calendar on your device. You will need the ticket QR code on your confirmation email to gain entry to school.
