Gresley Colliery Band

Gresley Colliery Band are a hard working and ambitious Championship Section Brass Band based in the very heart of the Midlands, providing entertaining concerts both in the local community and around the country relying entirely on income from engagements, donations, fund raising, and the enthusiasm of its’ members for its’ survival. They are currently the MidlandChampionship section and moving to the 1st section from January 2025.

Our youth and community band is made up of children’s and young people in the local area and have now been joined with some parents that play brass instruments. They are their own band and go out to do concerts and fundraising to keep the band going.
