LA Get Down: A Reclamation of Play: How to Play With Your Poems

Based off of his debut collection of poetry published by the World Stage Press, A Reclamation of Play is a two hour generative workshop curated by Soul Stuf and designed to aid writers of all levels with accessing creative flow using a variety of influences from outside the world of poetry. Rather than focus on the minutiae of technical form or specific language, this workshop is designed to dig into the latent material we all have meandering around in our brains but simply aren't paying enough attention to.

Attentive participants can expect to leave this session with an expanded toolkit for:
-fighting writer's block
-expanding a nest egg of an idea
-finding the heart of a poem
-moving "laterally" within the work
as well as up to three new poems to continue polishing on their way out!
