Essential background information from an expert in the field, which will help eco-curious homeowners and communities understand the route through this sometimes complex and confusing subject.
Paul Ciniglio is the National Energy Foundation’s (NEF) ‘Head of Whole Home Retrofit’. He graduated as a Building Surveyor, has a Masters in Sustainable Development and is a Chartered Environmentalist. He is an acknowledged retrofit expert focusing on those able to pay, heading up the SuperHomes initiative. He has led multiple award-winning sustainability projects and lives in his own SuperHome which he recently retrofitted.
The talk will start with getting retrofit basics right, with real case studies. He will share recent research on heat pump satisfaction, and the key findings from a monitoring and performance evaluation study of ‘deep’ retrofitted homes. He will also talk about the Government’s updated Warm Homes Plan.
