Beach litter pick - Swansea beach - 1.5 miles

This organised litter pick on Swansea beach at the end of the Gower walking festival offers multiple environmental and community benefits. It helps remove marine litter, protecting wildlife and improving coastal ecosystems while enhancing the natural beauty of the shoreline. It encourages community engagement, bringing walkers, volunteers and local organisations together with a shared sense of purpose. It supports sustainable tourism by demonstrating care for the environment by locals, visitors and festival participants. It provides education about waste reduction, recycling, and impact of pollution on marine habitats, reinforcing a legacy of leaving Swansea and Gower better than we found it.
