It's A Wonderful Life! the stage play

It’s a Wonderful Life (adapted by Mary Elliott Nelson) reimagines the much-loved Frank Capra film for the stage, with a versatile four-actor ensemble bringing the town of Bedford Falls to life. At its heart is George Bailey’s journey — from despair on a snow-covered bridge to rediscovering his worth through the guidance of a guardian angel. The adaptation balances festive warmth with moments of poignancy, inviting creative staging and imaginative character transitions as a small cast portrays an entire community. It’s a story of resilience, connection, and the enduring value of one life.
