Gabrieli Roar Presents Mr Handel's Christmas Story

Hear Handel’s Hallelujah chorus at Truro Cathedral in this brand new classical Christmas compilation of Handel’s greatest music, featuring hundreds of young people from across Cornwall.

6,000 young singers, 11 cities, and 28 of Gabrieli’s professional instrumentalists and singers: Gabrieli Roar’s Mr Handel’s Christmas Story tour comes to Truro Cathedral!

An exciting and original concept created by Gabrieli Artistic Director Paul McCreesh, the programme will include many highlights from Messiah alongside movements from other Handel oratorio, adapted and re-texted to create a programme that retells the Christmas story in full. Culminating in a joyous rendition of the Hallelujah chorus, Gabrieli’s full Baroque orchestra and singers will be joined by schools and youth choirs from across Cornwall.
