A Few Good Men

Townley Hall, Fulbourn Centre, Cambridge, CB21 5BS
Sunday 17th January 2027 11:00AM
The award-winning courtroom drama that inspired the acclaimed film starring Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson and Demi Moore comes to the stage in a compelling new production by the Fulbourn Scouts Youth Theatre.

When the death of a young Marine leads to a court martial, ambitious military lawyer Lieutenant Daniel Kaffee expects a routine case. But as the trial unfolds, buried loyalties, impossible choices and uncomfortable truths emerge, forcing him to confront what justice really demands. Set against the uncompromising world of the United States Marine Corps, A Few Good Men is a gripping story of courage, honour and the cost of doing the right thing.

Scouts don't often bring you theatre.  Scouting is many things, including a safe space where members feel comfortable to push themselves in the supportive community of their best friends.  A Few Good Men is part of a pioneering experimental project to bring performing art to scouts in a way that allows them to express and create within that community, and in ways that fit with all the other demands on young people's lives today.

Please note that this production contains strong language and explores mature themes. While performed by a talented young cast, it is intended primarily for teenage and adult audiences. Parental discretion is advised for younger children.
