JEKYLL & HYDE (age 12+)

Lawyer Utterson has a strange case involving blackmail, murder most foul - but also his close friend Doctor Henry Jekyll.

Reanimating the classic Gothic thriller by Robert Louis Stevenson, award-winning performers Amelia Ace Armande and Joshua Crisp blend the original text with sinuous physicality, dark humour and clever prop puppetry, morphing seamlessly between characters to conjure up the misty, murky streets of Stevenson's Victorian London. In this tense two-hander, through snatches of conversation, interview and confession, we uncover the grisly facts that link the celebrated doctor to the monstrous Mr Hyde. But in this fantastical narrative, what can possibly be the truth?
