A Midsummer nights dream

Hermia loves Lysander. Demetrius loves Hermia. Helena loves Demetrius. Add one rebellious escape, a magical forest, a mischievous Puck, a feuding fairy king and queen, and one very unfortunate actor with a donkey’s head, and chaos is guaranteed.

This fresh five-actor adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream brings the classic story to life in a bold, funny and accessible way for modern audiences. Blending contemporary language with some of Shakespeare’s most famous original lines, the production keeps all the romance, rivalry, magic and mayhem of the original while making the characters and their emotions feel immediate and relatable.

Expect mistaken identities, unrequited love, friendship fallouts, magical mix-ups and plenty of comedy as one wild night in the forest turns everyone’s world upside down.

A fast-paced, funny and heartfelt retelling of one of Shakespeare’s best-loved comedies.
