Xanthe will be teaching popular Makaton signs to communicate:

  • Places e.g. hospital, school/college
  • People e.g. doctor, dentist, teacher, nurse, police
  • Animals e.g. dog, cat, horse, bird
  • Time e.g. morning, night, bedtime, now, later, today, tomorrow
  • Pleasantries/requests e.g. please, thank you, help, wait, stop, calm down
Xanthe is an experienced Speech and Language Therapist, qualified in 2020. She supports children and young people in education settings and at home to develop their speech and language communication skills with confidence.  Xanthe works in a college-based multi-disciplinary therapy team. Xanthe is passionate about supporting neurodiverse children and adults to live a rich and fulfilled life.
