Fleet Street Quarter Festival of Words 2026

Fleet Street Quarter has long been recognised as the birthplace of the printed press and the historic heart of the British press, and the Fleet Street Quarter Festival of Words spotlights the area’s rich heritage in literature, publishing and journalism. The theme of the 2026 Festival of Words is The Age of Wisdom and Foolishness, inspired by the famous opening lines of Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities.
