Hi, I'm Ella! I'd love for you to join my art club! 

We’re a small, friendly group that meets every Sunday morning. We start off with a slow, curious wander through Hampstead’s quieter streets and green spaces. Think of it as a treasure hunt for inspiration: grand old houses, dappled light, cute fluffy dogs, majestic cats, and maybe a leaf or two to tuck into your pocket. 

We then head to Keats Community Library to turn that inspiration into art. Depending on how creative you’re feeling, you can follow my step-by-step instructions for a paper craft, or go completely freeform and make whatever you like. There’s no set theme. What we make depends on what catches our eye on the walk, so no two sessions are the same.

Everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to professional artists. Groups are capped at 5 people, so there's plenty of time for one-to-one help. It’s a drop-in club, so come once or every week, whatever suits you. Lots of people come on their own, so you’ll be in good company.

What's included:

• 1-hour guided nature walk 
• 1-hour sketching and paper craft session
• All art materials (sketching, collage, and origami paper, plus pencils, pens, glue, and scissors). You're also welcome to bring your own art supplies (no paint or anything messy please)

What to bring:

• Comfortable shoes for walking
• A water bottle
• Warm layers for the walk (we’ll warm up in the library with a hot drink)
• £1 in cash if you’d like tea or coffee at the library (no cards)

Schedule:

• 11:00 Meet at the oak tree on Oriel Place and set off on the walk
• 12:00 Sketching and paper crafts at Keats Community Library
• 13:00 Finish

Location:
Meet by the oak tree on Oriel Place, Hampstead, between Gail’s Bakery and Circle&Star Theatre. Look out for me holding a paper heart.

Accessibility:
The walk is at an easy, unhurried pace on pavements and paths, with some of Hampstead’s hills. The art session is seated and indoors. If you have access needs, please email me before booking and I’ll do my best to help.

Wet weather:
We go ahead whatever the weather. If it’s particularly miserable, we’ll shelter in a local café or bookshop.

Age policy:
Ages 16+

Refunds / cancellations:
Tickets are non-refundable, but if you can’t make it, you can swap your ticket to another Sunday through TicketSource, up to 2 days before your session. If a session is ever cancelled, you’ll get a full refund.
