Thursday 15th October 2026 - Saturday 17th October 2026
The Wasp is a heart wrenching, dark, comedic thriller for anyone who survived secondary school and has the scars to prove it. Decades after their last encounter, Heather, successful and seemingly perfect, reconnects with Carla, who has nothing left to lose. What begins as a tentative reunion quickly spirals into something far more dangerous.
Moving Stories Theatre Company presents Morgan Lloyd Malcolm’s Olivier Award winning masterpiece, a gripping exploration of how childhood trauma lingers and mutates over time. When Heather makes Carla a proposition she cannot afford to refuse, a ruthless game of revenge unfolds, forcing both women to confront the past they thought they had escaped.
Nominated for Best Theatre Production and Best Actor at Buxton Fringe 2024, this production has been hailed as “totally riveting,” “spellbinding,” and “Captivating from start to finish.” Critics praise its “enjoyably nasty twists” and performances described as “a revelation” (The Stage). Sharp, unsettling, and unforgettable, The Wasp asks a chilling question. Can you ever truly escape your demons?
