People’s Emergency Briefing - 3nd Screening

Titchfield Village Hall (Parish Rooms), Fareham, PO14 4AQ
Sunday 22nd November 2026 7:30PM
📢 A special community screening: The People's Emergency Briefing #PEBuk

The people have spoken. Following our two previous sold-out screenings of The People's Emergency Briefing on 5th May & 1st Sept, one thing is clear — this is a conversation our community needs to keep having.

So many of you left previously wanting to bring friends, family, and neighbours who couldn't make it, and we've listened. By popular demand, we are putting the film on for a third time, because this message belongs to everyone.

Come together, bring someone new, and let's keep the momentum going — this is our community, our emergency, and our briefing.

What's happening with climate and nature — and what does it mean for everyday life here in Titchfield and the surrounding area?
Join us for a screening of the People's Emergency Briefing, an eye-opening film bringing together nine leading UK scientists and experts with the latest evidence and why it matters for things like:

🌧️ Extreme weather 🍞 Food security 🏥 Health 💷 Cost of living

The film is based on the National Emergency Briefing held in Westminster (featured by ITV, Channel 4 and The Times) with appearances from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden, and a range of voices from across the UK.

📍 Titchfield Village Hall, Titchfield
📅 Sunday 22nd November

💚

Bring a friend, neighbour or family member: everyone is welcome - but please reserve your seat in advance as we expect a full house.

Note: the film is only being shown at in-person screenings and is not available online.

The People's Emergency Briefing is a 45-minute documentary hosted by Chris Packham, drawn from the National Emergency Briefing delivered last November in Westminster by ten leading UK experts in climate science, food security, health, economics and national security. The film presents a calm, evidence-based account of how the climate and nature crisis is affecting everyday life in Britain — and what the science says about the risks ahead. It is explicitly non-partisan and supported by a wide range of organisations, including the Church of England, the National Trust, WWF and the Royal Meteorological Society.

Following the screening, we will host a structured community discussion focused specifically on what these changes could mean for Titchfield — our coastline, our flood risk, our roads and drainage, our homes and open land. The recent flooding here has already brought some of these vulnerabilities into focus.

But the conversation we want to start goes further: how do we, as a community, begin to anticipate and prepare for what is coming?
