Mother Goose

It's going to be pantomime season before you know it - oh yes it is!
Here in Bishopthorpe, that means preparations are already well underway for this year's show by the Ebor Players, which is... Mother Goose!
It's a fun, feathery and fabulous family show with all the traditional cheering, booing, songs, laughter, nonsense, colourful costumes, romance, peril and villainous skulduggery you could dream of. Who will win the battle of good versus evil: Fairy Aurora or Smorg, the wicked troll? Can Mother Goose and her beloved Heidi escape the treacherous clutches of the Baron and his sidekick, Gonk? Will Freya and Sven find love amidst the mayhem?
The panto will be at Bishopthorpe Village Hall, as it has been since the Ebor Players' first show in 1994. Directed and produced by Philippa Parrish and written by Ben Crocker, it runs from Monday 30 November to Saturday 5 December.
