Early Daze Coffee Mornings
The Swan at Streatley, Reading, RG8 9HR
Wednesday 25th November 2026 9:30AM
This week our expert is Nicola McKenna.
Nicola is a First Aid Teacher for Mini First Aid (a great brand and worth a follow on Instagram if you haven't heard of them!). She is coming to run this as a teaser session sharing some basic hints and tips of baby first aid and show what she has in her first aid kit.
We held our first ever Mini First Aid training on 28th October and it was a huge success. I am hoping to host this on a quarterly basis so Nicola will do this in advance of an official session around end of Jan/beginning of Feb.
In her own words: "As well as teaching first aid I am also a qualified Nanny and have an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare so I really understand the importance of having the skills and knowledge required to know how to act in an emergency. I am also a mum of two so I know how worrying the early years can be at times as naturally we want to do everything in our power to keep our little ones safe and protected."
Hope to see you there,
Sabrina
