5 How to create a kitchen garden, Creating your own mini allotment

• With a few creative touches, you can design a beautiful, inspiring kitchen garden.
• No matter how much space you have — a windowsill, balcony, or garden — you can grow fresh food at home. With a few simple ideas, you can set up a small kitchen garden using pots, raised beds, or a tiny patch of soil. Even a compact mini‑allotment can help you grow more of your favourite ingredients. It’s an easy, enjoyable way to add fresh flavour to your meals every day.

This workshop is part of 8 workshops that will be held in Baldridgeburn Community Centre, Dunfermline, between February and April 2026 *. People are more than welcome to book onto just one workshop, or several. 

All workshops are run for Dunfermline Greenspace by Grace Devine, Horticultural Consultant at Sow 'n Grow, a social enterprise, specialising in community growing.
