4 Choosing Seeds

Monday 9th March

Which vegetable varieties work best in this area/ what to plant when, when to plant, with a planting calendar and seeds - potentially creating a seed library / sharing seeds.

• Discover the best vegetable varieties for our local climate and learn exactly what to plant—and when—to get great results. Participants will walk away with a ready‑to‑use planting calendar, a starter pack of seeds, and the know‑how to build a thriving community seed library that keeps everyone growing and sharing all year long.

This workshop is part of 8 workshops that will be held at Baldridgeburn Community Centre, Dunfermline, between February and April 2026*. People are more than welcome to book onto just one workshop, or several.

All workshops are run for Dunfermline Greenspace by Grace Devine, Horticultural Consultant at Sow 'n Grow, a social enterprise, specialising in community growing. Dunfermline Greenspace is a registered charity (SCIO) number SCO52367
