Dryadic

RADICAL ANTHEMIC IMPASSIONED ALT-FOLK

Queer, alt-folk agitators, Dryadic deliver a tight, infectious blend of rootsy folk with a melodic pop flair, peppered with heart soaring vocals, and vibrant fiddle licks. Dryadic have built a reputation as one of the UK’s most compelling contemporary folk-roots bands, known for their rousing live shows, unapologetically feminist songwriting, and rich, string-led arrangements. The band have toured extensively across the UK and Europe, appearing on stages including Glastonbury Avalon, Chai Wallahs, Brighton Pride, Hackney Empire, and Drayton Arms Theatre. They have supported Grace Petrie, Dervish and O’Hooley & Tidow, and McDonald has duetted live with Nadine Benjamin MBE.

Dryadic’s live shows are a feast for the senses, blending stomping feminist protest songs and travelling folk tales with dreamy, epic ballads. With raw energy, candid lyrics, and infectious singalong hooks, Dryadic delivers an unforgettable performance, connecting deeply with their audience. Their unique sound is powered by the interplay of fiddle, double bass, and Zora’s heartfelt vocals, creating a rich, immersive experience.
