Driehaus Design Initiative Alumni Fashion Show

Launched in 2002, The DDI is a 501c3 nonprofit that hosts the Driehaus Fashion Awards every spring- the only fashion event of its kind in the nation- where students from local design schools are selected to showcase their senior collections and compete for a chance to win cash prizes and help launch their careers. The DDI also awards substantial grants on an annual basis to the design schools and other organizations that foster design education, including the Chicago History Museum.

For the first time in over two decades, The DDI is showcasing the designs of eight of their former student designers, who- since competing in the Driehaus Fashion Awards- have gone on to become successful, professional designers in their own right; or who are currently launching their businesses.
