DR AI SIG - AI in the patient's radiography journey: much more than just image interpretation

Online
Monday 16th November 2026
This webinar will explore how AI can be used in the patient journey from imaging request until after the images have been reported including vetting, equipment positioning, image quality, result prioritisation and 'what next'. Examples will mainly be from commercially available products, so you may already or soon have these in your departments, although we will discuss a couple that are surprisingly not available and explore why that is the case.

The Diagnostic Radiography AI SIG presents peer-to-peer study sessions for radiographers exploring Artificial Intelligence in radiography. The current HCPC Standards of Proficiency require radiographers to demonstrate awareness of the principles of AI and deep learning technology and its application to practice. Through sharing our knowledge and experience as radiographers working with AI, these sessions aim to provide you with enough knowledge to meet this standard ready for the next audit cycle as well as support you in clinical practice.

This study day has received SCoR CPD endorsement. It may help to support outcomes 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12 and 19 of CPD Now. CPD for radiographers and other allied health professionals regulated by the HCPC is learning outcomes based, rather than point/credits/hours accumulating. Therefore, attendance certificates will not be provided. This session will not be recorded so will not be available after the live session. The content is suitable for radiographers of all levels.

Registration for each session will close at 9am and joining links will be sent to the registering email address and added to this booking page during the day of the talk. Please ensure you have access to the email with which you registered.
