Les Diaboliques at Insole Court

Michel Delassalle is the headmaster of a Parisian boarding school, and he treats everyone around him with such cruelty, particularly the women in his life, that his wife and his mistress secretly decide that the only thing to do is kill him.

And this is just the start of Henri-Georges Clouzot's shocking psychological thriller, with tension mercilessly building throughout, leading to one of the great finales in cinematic history.
