Twenty Percent Disgusting
Mill Two, 1853 Studios, Oldham, OL9 6QQ
Thursday 6th August 2026
The luckiest girl in the world.
A multidisciplinary solo performance tracing a woman in her mid-twenties at the point of rupture, where prescribed narratives fracture and something unchained begins to surface.
Late-diagnosed.
Intellectual eldest daughter.
Chronic people-pleaser.
A carefully constructed mask, yearning for freedom.
Exploring neurodiversity, grief and the quiet violence of expectation. Drawing on autobiography as well as reflecting on hysteria, the show weaves together movement, text, music and pop culture references to shape a contemporary performance that reimagines a sense of identity, resists shame and expresses a radical choosing of the self.
This is not the start of a performance, it is the end of one.
A metaphorical suicide, if you will.
