Ziggy Stardust: The Motion Picture

D.A. Pennebaker’s fascinating documentary of the final date of David Bowie’s 1973 tour when he announced the retirement of Ziggy and the breaking up of The Spiders from Mars (a surprise to the band as much as anyone else). Featuring classic tracks such as Hang on to Yourself, Time, Changes and Suffragette City, the concert sees Bowie and the Spiders at the height of their powers.
