The Blackheart Orchestra

Recent winners of the UK Rising Stars of Prog Award, and chosen by music legend Mike Batt as his favourite new album on Times Radio’s New and Old show, The Blackheart Orchestra are British multi-award winning, multi-instrumentalists Chrissy Mostyn and Rick Pilkington. They comprise a two person ‘orchestra’ playing up to 13 instruments in their unique live show. With influences from as far afield as Kate Bush and Sigur Ros to modern composers Steve Reich and Philip Glass, recent single ‘Bloodlines’ reached #19 in the UK with BBC 6 music calling it “Intensely beautiful”.
The support artist on this tour will be ROAN. Roan is a British female singer-songwriter who is gaining huge recognition with her soft, sensitive and emotional songs. Her much-anticipated debut album will be released this Summer.
