Calling all talented performers! We are looking for a star !
As part of the run up to Cowes Fringe, we’re hosting The Island's Got Talent at East Cowes Town Hall on 1st March 2026 — and we’re looking for talented young performers!
This fun, supportive daytime event (12:00-16:00) is open to ages 8+ to adults, welcoming musicians, singers, bands, comedians, jugglers and all kinds of performers. It’s a great chance for people to showcase their skills, gain stage experience, and get involved in the Fringe
community.
Judging our performers are four local legends - Nigel Hartley MBE, James Newman, Hannah Brear and DJ JAMRoKi. You’ll be in for a great day!
Refreshments will include soft drinks, hot drinks, and sweets.
One standout performer from the day will be offered the chance to appear in the main Cowes Fringe programme at the East Cowes Town Hall — on our Mountbatten Gala Night in May (times TBC).
This is a free drop in event and audience spaces will be on a first come first serve basis, with a priority to performers.

SOLO PERFORMER (Up to 3 in a group) ENTRY FEE: £5 each
GROUP PERFORMER (4 or more in a group) ENTRY FEE : £10 total
Any successful child applications must have an adult accompany them at the event.
Applications close 31st January. You will be informed with your performance time, if you have been successful, in February. At that time of confirmation we will ask for your performer fee.
