Disarmingly simple. Beautifully crafted.
Expertly delivered. And funny too.
In the lounge at the Cotswold Playhouse
Philip returns to the Playhouse Lounge for another warm and welcoming evening of his fun short stories for grown-ups. Bar open from 7.00pm.
He has toured his two short stories shows - He Does What?! and Does He Really Do More Of That? - to community venues around the South West. He has twice won the Gloucestershire Writers Network annual short story competition and read at the Cheltenham Literature Festival.
More intriguingly he has read in a torrential rainstorm at The Green Man Festival (quite damp), in the dark on the back of a land rover (quite dangerous) and at a Pirates Party (quite dressed up).
Here’s what a couple of (non-financially rewarded) people were sufficiently stimulated to say about the pleasing idiocy of his recent touring show:
‘We all had a fabulous time and we all talked about it on the way home.’
‘A huge high… I haven’t laughed so much for ages.’
