Drawing as Resistance
The Common Room, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1RG
Monday 17th August 2026
A new monthly social at The Common Room. All welcome - No experience of drawing required. Materials provided.
Draw. Share. Exhibit. RESIST.
Each month we'll explore something. An idea, a theme - something which offers a way of making sense of our increasingly complex world. We'll draw together. We'll draw independently. We'll share.
Each month we'll explore different materials. A different way of playing.
For every 3 paid tickets - we'll offer a free space for someone who may otherwise be unable to join us.
After each session we will make copies of your work - lo-fi reproductions to exhibit in The Common Room. We'll work this bit out in more detail as we go.
