CKA A double feast of poetry and art
The Horsebridge Arts Center, Whitstable, CT5 1 AF
Thursday 15th October 2026
We Are Our Memory’ takes its title from Jorge Luis Borges, In Praise of Darkness. In this spirit of collaboration between words and art, seven poets have been invited to work in dialogue with the exhibition ending with a poetry reading.
Poets involved include Roy McFarlane, Phil Vernon, Jane O'Brien, Fiona Williams, Clair Meyrick, Nick Goodall and Shringi Kumari.
The night will be hosted by Roy McFarlane with poets from Kent and Sussex Poetry Society and two of the exhibiting artists reading their poetry. The event will include a glass of wine and there will be an opportunity to buy the poets' books at the event.
